Uses
- Tramacip 50 mg capsule is used to treat moderate to severe pain.
Contraindications
- Do not take Tramacip 50 mg capsules or use caution:
- If you have any allergy or hypersensitivity reaction to tramadol or any other inactive ingredients in Tramacip 50 mg capsule
- If you are currently using monoamine oxidase Inhibitors (MAOIs) or have used them within the last 14 days
- If you have been diagnosed with acute intoxication with alcohol, analgesics, hypnotics, and psychotropic medicinal products

Interactions
Interactions with other medicines
- Tramacip 50 mg capsule can cause adverse reactions when taken with the following medicines:
- Interaction with monoamine oxidase inhibitors (MAOIs) like moclobemide and selegiline can cause life-threatening effects on respiratory, cardiac and central nervous systems.
- Interaction with selective serotonin and norepinephrine reuptake inhibitors (SSRIs) like citalopram, fluoxetine, fluvoxamine, paroxetine, sertraline, desvenlafaxine, and venlafaxine may potentiate the effect of these medicines and increase the risk of serotonin syndrome.
- Interaction with benzodiazepines like alprazolam and clonazepam can increase the risk of sedation and respiratory difficulties because of additive central nervous system depressant effects.
- Interaction with anticoagulants like warfarin can increase the risk of bleeding.
- To avoid undesirable side effects associated with medicine interaction, inform your doctor about all medicines and supplements you are currently taking.
