Tovaxo eye drops are used to reduce increased pressure in the eyes in patients with open-angle glaucoma or high pressure in the eyes (ocular hypertension). It contains travoprost as the active compon
ent. Tovaxo eye drops work by reducing the pressure in the eyes. Use this medicine exactly as prescribed by the doctor. It is meant for external use only. Do not swallow or ingest. Before using Tovaxo eye drops, inform your doctor if you are pregnant, planning on becoming pregnant, breastfeeding, and about your complete medical history.

- You have any other eye problems like corneal damage, dry eye syndrome, vision or sight disturbances, etc.
- You had any eye surgery or cataract surgery.
- You experience irritation, pain, redness of the eye, vision changes, changes in your eyelids, changes in the color of the iris, or your condition worsens after using Tovaxo eye drops.
- You notice that your symptoms of asthma have increased or you experience breathlessness or wheezing after using this eye drop.
- Tovaxo eye drops are not recommended for children less than 2 months old.

- Use Tovaxo eye drops exactly as instructed by your doctor.
- Follow the directions carefully and do not miss an application.
- Wash your hands thoroughly before and after applying.
- Close your eyes for 2 - 3 minutes and do not blink or squeeze.
- Avoid touching your eyes with the dropper. The dropper must be kept clean to avoid infections.
- Using a clean tissue or cloth, wipe any excess liquid from your face.
- Use the exact number of drops as recommended by your doctor.
- If you have been prescribed any other eye drops or eye ointments, keep an interval of at least 5 minutes between both medicines.
