Topisal-3% lotion is used for the treatment of various skin conditions such as eczema, red sores around the nose and mouth (impetigo), skin damage (lesions), and red scaly patches (psoriasis). It con
tains a combination of clobetasol and salicylic acid as active substances that can soften the hard layer of skin. Clobetasol is a steroid and salicylic acid is an antiseptic. Topisal-3% lotion should only be used externally and must not be used for any other skin conditions without consulting your doctor. Do not use more of this lotion or apply it more often than recommended. The medicine is not meant for use in children less than 12 years of age.

Contraindications of Topisal 3% Lotion 30ml
- If you are allergic to clobetasol, salicylic acid, or any other ingredient of Topisal-3% lotion.
- If you are using this lotion to treat infections in your private parts, face, acne, around the mouth, and skin perforations.
- If you have any untreated skin infection or skin thinning problems.
- If you have chickenpox, shingles, warts, or any other wounds and skin infections.

How Does It Work?
- Topisal-3% lotion works by the combined action of its two components - clobetasol and salicylic acid.
- Clobetasol is a steroid that acts by blocking the synthesis of a chemical substance called prostaglandin that is responsible for itching, swelling, and redness.
- Salicylic acid improves the condition of swelling and redness in the skin and helps in shedding the hard skin or dead skin. It also improves the penetration of clobetasol into the skin.
Directions for Use of Topisal 3% Lotion 30ml
- Use Topisal-3% lotion as directed by your doctor.
- Clean and dry your hands before and after applying the medicine, unless your hands are the area to be treated.
- For external use only, apply it on a healthy skin surface, free from cuts and wounds.
- Avoid touching the tip of the container to the infected area of the skin.
- Apply a thin layer and rub gently over the affected area.
- If your eyes come in contact with the medicine, immediately rinse the eyes with clean water.
