Other General Warnings

Talk to your doctor if
  • You have lung or breathing problems.
  • You have heart problems, including a condition called prolonged QTc
  • You have problems with your electrolytes, such as sodium, potassium, calcium or magnesium.
  • You have a history of eye problems.
  • You are pregnant or plan to become pregnant. Tagrisso tablet can harm an unborn baby.
  • You are taking any other medications, including prescription and over-the-counter medicines, vitamins, or herbal supplements, especially heart or blood pressure-controlling medicines.
  • Inform your doctor right away if you become pregnant during treatment with Tagrisso tablet.
  • Females who are able to become pregnant should use effective birth control during treatment with Tagrisso tablet and for 6 weeks after the final dose.
  • Males who have female partners that can become pregnant should use effective birth control during treatment with Tagrisso tablet and for 4 months after the final dose.
  • Do not breastfeed during treatment and for 2 weeks after your final dose.
  • Inform your doctor immediately if you develop a new fever or fever that does not go away, easy bruising or bleeding that will not stop, unusually pale skin, infection, tiredness, or weakness.

  • Take Tagrisso tablet as prescribed by your doctor
  • Do not stop medication or modify dosage by yourself
  • Report any side effects to your doctor immediately
  • Swallow the tablets whole. Do not chew, crush, dissolve, or divide the tablets
  • You can take the tablets with or without food

Storage and disposal of Tagrisso 40 MG

  • Store at 20-25°C.
  • Store in the original bottle to protect it from moisture and away from sunlight.
  • Ensure that it is out of sight and reach of minors.
  • Do not use the tablets after the expiry date.
  • Do not throw the leftover medicine away in the garbage or flush it down the drain. Ask the pharmacist how to dispose of old medications correctly.
