Medical Description

Szetalo plus tablet is generally used to treat symptoms of depression along with anxiety. These tablets are strictly taken only after being recommended by a well-trained doctor. Szetalo plus tablets contain clonazepam along with escitalopram oxalate as its chief ingredients. Clonazepam is categorised under a class of medications known as benzodiazepines. They do have a habit-forming tendency. Escitalopram oxalate, on the other hand, belongs to a class of medications known as selective serotonin reuptake inhibitors. These chemicals act on our central nervous system(brain) and balance certain chemical messengers responsible for anxiety and depression. The timings of intake of Szetalo plus tablets should be kept the same so that appropriate amounts of this medication should be present in the body at all times for proper treatment. Since Szetalo plus tablets can cause dizziness, any activity that requires strenuous physical activity should be avoided.
