y incontinence. The active component of Symbal 50 tablet is Duloxetine, an anti-depressant medication. Depression is a condition associated with low mood, sadness, hopelessness, negative feelings, and difficulty eating or falling asleep. Anxiety is a condition characterised by increased worry and fear about routine situations. Neuropathic pain essentially refers to pain that occurs due to damage to nerves. This type of nerve damage can occur because of many conditions like diabetes. Stress urinary incontinence is a phenomenon in which there is unconscious leaking of urine on performing activities like coughing, sneezing, laughing, or exercising. The doctor's directions for use of Symbal 60 tablets should be strictly followed. Symbal 50 tablets should not be abruptly started or stopped as this may cause withdrawal effects. For maximum efficacy, it is best to take the pills at the same time every day. Side effects of Symbal 60 tablets include nausea, dry mouth, somnolence (increased sleepiness), fatigue, constipation, decreased appetite, increased sweating (hyperhidrosis), headache, drowsiness, dizziness, and sexual dysfunction.

Contraindications of Symbal 60 MG
- Do not take Symbal 50 tablets, or use caution:
- If you have hypersensitivity reactions to this medicine.
- If you are diagnosed with liver disease.
- If you are diagnosed with kidney failure; it is contraindicated in such cases.
- If you are diagnosed with angle-closure glaucoma (increased pressure in the eyes); it is contraindicated in such cases.
- If you are diagnosed with a seizure disorder; it is contraindicated in such cases.
- If you are diagnosed with elevated blood pressure and not on treatment; this medicine can result in a hypertensive crisis.
- If you experience urinary retention and hesitation (difficulty in passing urine); it is contraindicated in such cases.
- If you have a history or family history of mania or bipolar disorder; this medicine may result in the activation of mania.
- If you are under 24; there is an FDA black box warning for increased suicidal ideation when used in children, adolescents, and young adults <24 years of age.
- If you are a child; this medication is not approved for use in the paediatric age group.

How Does It Work?
Directions for Use of Symbal 60 MG
- This medication should be taken as prescribed by the doctor.
- Take this medication on a regular schedule, i.e., at the same time every day for optimal efficacy.
- Swallow this medication as a whole. Do not crush, chew or break the pill.
- It is recommended to finish the complete course of treatment with Symbal 60 tablets as prescribed by the treating doctor.
- It may take up to 2-4 weeks of continued use for this medication to fully take effect.
- Sudden stoppage of Symbal 60 tablets can cause withdrawal side effects. Consult your doctor before stopping this medication.
Interactions of Symbal 60 MG
Interactions with other medicines
- Many medicines are known to interact with Symbal 50 tablets. Inform your doctor regarding your regular medications at the time of prescription.
- Symbal 50 tablets should not be used concomitantly with monoamine oxidase inhibitors (MAOIs) or within 14 days of the use of MAOIs and vice versa. Examples of MAOIs include selegiline and rasagiline. This is because it can result in a life-threatening condition called serotonin syndrome....
- Symbal 50 tablets should also not be used alongside other medications that can cause an increase in serotonin levels, like anti-depressants, linezolid, triptans, and opioids.
- Symbal 50 tablets should not be mixed with medications that cause the arrest of bleeding, such as aspirin, NSAIDs, heparin, warfarin, and other anticoagulants. This is because duloxetine too causes an increased risk of bleeding. ...
- Symbal 50 tablets should not be mixed with alcohol, opioids, or other central nervous system (CNS)-involving medications.
- Symbal 50 tablets should not be used with medications that are potent inhibitors of the enzymes that metabolise duloxetine.
