Uses
Contraindications
- If you are allergic to any component of this medicine.
- If you have viral, fungal or any serious condition of the eye causing pus discharge or ulcers.
- If you have any problem in your eye, which has not been diagnosed by your doctor yet.
- If the pressure inside your eye is raised (glaucoma).
- If your eardrum is perforated.
- If you are suffering from viral or fungal infections of the respiratory system or sinuses.
Side effects
- Raised pressure inside the eye
- Itching, redness and irritation in eyes
- Disturbed vision, cloudiness (cataract) on prolonged use
- Ulcers or Perforation in eyes with some pre-existing conditions of the eye
- Drooping of eyes
- Perforation of eardrum
- Itching, irritation after instillation of drops

Other General Warnings
- You have any severe infection, a viral or fungal disease.
- You do not find any improvement in your condition after using this medicine for about 7-days.
- You notice the worsening of your problem after using these drops.
- Your complete medical history and ongoing medicines.
- You have raised pressure in your eyes or you wear contact lenses.
- You have a viral or fungal infection of the eyes.
- You are diabetic or you have ulcers, pus discharge from your eyes.
- You experience discharge coming out of ears or your eardrum is perforated.
Directions for Use
- Use this medicine as instructed by your doctor.
- Follow directions carefully & do not miss doses.
- Wash your hands thoroughly before and after applying.
- Avoid touching your eyes with the dropper. Keep the dropper clean.
- Wipe any excess liquid from your face with a tissue.
- Use the exact number of drops recommended.
- Close your eyes for 2-3 minutes and do not blink or squeeze (eyedrop).
- While using the drops for the ear, keep your head tilted for 2-3 minutes to let the drops soak in the ear. Repeat for another ear if required after 5-10 minutes.
Storage and disposal
- Store at a temperature below 25ºC in a cool and dry place.
- Keep it out of the reach of children and pets.
- Discard any unused medicine.

Overdose
- As Starbet N Eye Drops is meant for external application, cases of overdose are unlikely. However, upon accidental ingestion, contact your doctor immediately or visit the nearest hospital. If you have applied extra quantities of it, wash/wipe out the excess of the medicine with tissue or cotton.
