Silodonol-8D Tablet
Description
Silosalt 8D Tablet is a combination medicine used to treat an enlarged prostate gland, a condition known as benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH) in men. It contains two active ingredients, silodosin and dutasteride, which work together to relieve urinary symptoms caused by prostate enlargement. This condition can make it difficult to pass urine or cause frequent urination, especially at night.
This medicine works by relaxing the muscles of the prostate and bladder, making urination easier, and by shrinking the prostate gland over time. With regular use, Silosalt 8D Tablet helps improve urine flow and reduces the feeling of incomplete bladder emptying. However, it is not used for the treatment or prevention of prostate cancer.
Take Silosalt 8D Tablet exactly as advised by your doctor, usually at the same time every day. It can be taken with or without food, but taking it after a meal may help reduce the risk of side effects such as dizziness. Do not stop taking this medicine suddenly without consulting your doctor, even if you feel better, as symptoms may return.
Before starting this medicine, inform your doctor if you have any history of liver or kidney problems, low blood pressure, or if you are taking other medications. Women and children should not handle broken or crushed tablets as the active ingredients can be absorbed through the skin.
Your doctor may recommend regular check-ups to monitor your prostate health and response to treatment. For best results, take this medicine consistently and follow your doctor’s instructions carefully.
