- Serenace injection can be used for the following conditions.
- Schizophrenia - a mental disorder that can cause hallucination (hearing and seeing things that are not real), delusion (having beliefs that are not true), mood disorder, etc.
- Tourette syndrome - characterised by unwanted repetitive movements and sounds, also known as tics.
Contraindications of Serenace 5 MG
- Do not use Serenace injection if you have the following conditions:
- On the off chance that you are sensitive to haloperidol or any ingredient in serenace injection.
- If you have other nervous system disorders like Parkinson's disease.
- If you are suffering from central nervous system depression
- If you have an uncontrolled seizure disorder
- This medicine can cause long-lasting effects in unborn and newborn babies if you are pregnant.
- If you are breastfeeding
- If you have dementia-related psychosis, it causes an increased risk of heart failure, pneumonia, death, etc., especially in elderly patients.
- If you are experiencing conditions like Neuroleptic Malignant Syndrome (NMS) and Tardive Dyskinesia. It can worsen these conditions.
