Mode of Action of Rosuson Gold 20mg Strip Of 10 Capsules

How Does It Work?

Rosuvastatin is a selective and competitive inhibitor of HMG-CoA reductase. It acts on the liver and decreases cholesterol. Aspirin inhibits platelet activation, which prevents blood clotting.

Take this medicine as advised by your doctor
Swallow it as a whole
Do not chew, crush or break it.

Interactions of Rosuson Gold 20mg Strip Of 10 Capsules

Interactions with other medicines

Transporter protein inhibitors interact with rosuvastatin and increase the risk of myopathy
Concomitant use of gemfibrozil results in a two-fold increase in rosuvastatin area under the curve
Antacids decrease the plasma concentration of rosuvastatin
Ticagrelor affects renal excretion of rosuvastatin which increases the risk of rosuvastatin accumulation
Methotrexate interacts with this medication and enhances haematological toxicity
Concomitant use of anticoagulants like warfarin is not recommended as it increases the risk of bleeding
