Description
Romilast B Tablet is a combination of two medicines Montelukast, an antihistaminic and Bambuterol a Beta adrenergic receptor. It is used to treat asthma, bronchospasm, allergic rhinitis and chronic o
bstructive pulmonary disease. You can take this tablet with or without food. However, do not stop the medications abruptly without consulting the doctor. If you observe any severe side effects, inform the doctor immediately. Store the tablet in a cool and dry place away from moisture.

How Does It Work?
Directions for Use
- Romilast B Tablet should be taken as directed by the physician
- Do not break, crush or chew the tablet
- Swallow the tablet with a glass of water
- You can take it with or without food
- Do not take more than the recommended dose
Interactions
Interactions with other medicines
- Halothane anaesthesia should be avoided with bambuterol
- Bambuterol increases the muscle-relaxing effect of suxamethonium
- Beta-receptor blocking agents can partially or entirely block the effect of bambuterol
- Phenytoin, phenobarbital and rifampicin may decrease the efficacy of montelukast
- Bambuterol should be given in caution on other sympathomimetics
Other general Interactions
- Montelukast should not be used with inhaled/oral corticosteroids
- Patients with glucose-galactose malabsorption should not take this medicine
Storage and disposal
- Store at room temperature between 20 to 25° C
- Protect from light and moisture
- Keep away from children
- Keep the medication away from the reach of children and pets
- Do not flush the expired or unneeded tablets or throw them in household waste; instead, talk to your pharmacist regarding the safe way to discard them
