Regacid D 10/20 Mg Tablet 10 Description

Regacid D tablet is a prescription medicine. It is used to treat gastroesophageal reflux disease (Acid reflux), indigestion, and peptic ulcer disease. Lowering the symptoms such as burning sensation,

stomach pain, or irritation is the main use of the Regacid D tablet. It is also used in Zollinger-Ellison syndrome, which is characterised by the presence of tumours in the upper part of the small intestine, which causes excess acid production. The active components of this medication are Omeprazole and Domperidone. Omeprazole is an antacid, and Domperidone prevents nausea and vomiting. The mode of action of Regacid D tablets is to neutralise the acid in the stomach and promote easy passage of gas to reduce stomach discomfort and pain. Diarrhoea, stomach pain, dryness in the mouth, headache, and flatulence are some of the most common side effects of Regacid D tablets. Follow your doctor’s directions for using the Regacid D tablet. Remember to take this medicine 30 minutes to one hour before having food to prevent symptoms. It is important to make lifestyle changes alongside taking this medicine, such as avoiding food that increases the severity of indigestion and acidity. Inform your doctor if you have a history of stomach bleeding or obstruction in the intestines. The medicine is for adults as its safety in children is not established.
