Mode of Action of Recofast Plus Bottle Of 15ml Drops
How Does It Work?
Recofast contains three medicine: paracetamol/acetaminophen, phenylephrine hydrochloride and chlorpheniramine/chlorphenamine. Paracetamol is a centrally acting analgesic and antipyretic agent that blocks the chemicals responsible for pain and fever. Phenylephrine is a nasal decongestant that works by reducing swelling of the blood vessels in the nasal passages. Chlorpheniramine is an antihistamine that blocks the action of histamine, thereby relieving symptoms like runny nose, watery eyes, etc....

- Take this medicine as prescribed by the doctor

Interactions with other medicines
- Concomitant use of paracetamol with anti-coagulants like warfarin may increase the effect of warfarin and increases the risk of bleeding
- Co-administration of metoclopramide, domperidone may increase the speed of absorption of paracetamol
- Colestyramine may reduce the absorption
- Concurrent use of hypnotics or anxiolytics may increase the sedative effect
