• Spastic paralysis
• Periarthritis
• Low back pain

• Hypersensitivity to any ingredient of Rapisone-D SR Capsule
• Active, gastric or intestinal ulcer, bleeding, or perforation
• History of gastrointestinal bleeding or perforation, relating to previous non-steroidal anti-inflammatory agents therapy
• Active, or history of recurrent peptic ulcer/haemorrhage
• Stevens-Johnson syndrome
• Hepatic or renal failure
• Last trimester of pregnancy
• Established congestive heart failure (NYHA-II-IV), ischemic heart disease, peripheral arterial disease, and/or cerebrovascular disease

• Stomach pain
• Heartburn
• Nausea or vomiting
• Diarrhoea
• Dyspepsia
• Loss of appetite,
• Indigestion
• Vertigo
• Dizziness
• Headache
• Spots or skin rash
• Raised blood liver enzymes
• Changes in blood pressure

How Does It Work?

• Follow your doctor's instructions on the dosage and duration of this medication
• Take it all in at once
• It should not be chewed, crushed, or broken
• Rapisone-D SR Capsule should be consumed with or after food.

Interactions with other medicines

• Rapisone DSR may raise lithium plasma concentrations
• Rapisone DSR may cause digoxin plasma concentrations to rise
• Concomitant treatment with potassium-sparing diuretics, ciclosporin, tacrolimus, or trimethoprim may result in elevated serum potassium levels, which should be checked on a regular basis
• Concomitant treatment with anticoagulants and antiplatelet medicines they may enhance the risk of bleeding
• Rapisone DSR along with selective serotonin reuptake inhibitors may raise the risk of gastrointestinal bleeding
• Rapisone DSR can reduce methotrexate clearance and so raise methotrexate levels
• Rapisone DSR may aggravate ciclosporin nephrotoxicity
• Rapisone DSR with tacrolimus may increase risk of nephrotoxicity
• Quinolones and Rapisone DSR may interact resulting in convulsions
• Rapisone DSR increases phenytoin plasma levels
• Colestipol and cholestyramine can cause diclofenac absorption to be delayed or decreased
• Cardiac glycosides with Rapisone DSR at the same time can worsen cardiac failure, lower GFR, and raise plasma glycoside levels
• Rapisone DSR should be avoided for 8-12 days following mifepristone administration since they can impair mifepristone's action

• Store the medicine at room temperature in a cool and dry place
• Store below 25 degree Celsius
• Keep out of reach from children
• Do not use Rapisone DSR after their expiry date
• Keep Rapisone DSR capsules in their original packet
