Medical Description

Qpril H tablet is used to control high blood pressure and lower the long-term risk of complications such as stroke, heart attack and kidney problems. It contains a combination of quinapril and hydrochlorothiazide. Quinapril relaxes blood vessels, while hydrochlorothiazide helps the kidneys remove extra salt and water in urine, so blood pressure falls. Because high blood pressure often causes no symptoms, improvement may not be felt. Qpril tablet is taken by mouth with or without food and should be used regularly as prescribed even when you feel well.
