Medical Description
Pulmorex syrup is used to loosen thick mucus and may ease breathing when mucus and narrowed airways contribute to chest congestion or a mucus-producing cough. It contains a combination of bromhexine, guaifenesin and terbutaline. The bromhexine component breaks down sticky mucus, the guaifenesin component adds fluid to help move it out, and the terbutaline component relaxes tightened airway muscles. Pulmorex syrup is an oral liquid taken by mouth and should be used only as advised by a doctor.
