Prostagard D 4mg Strip Of 10 Capsules Description

Prostagard D4 capsule is used to manage benign prostatic hypertrophy (BPH, also called benign prostatic hyperplasia). It is a common condition in older men with an enlargement of the prostate gland.

The prostate gland is a part of the male reproductive system and is located below the bladder. Common symptoms of benign prostatic hypertrophy include incomplete emptying of the bladder, trouble passing urine, frequent need to pass urine, and a weak urine flow. Prostagard D4 capsule contains a combination of silodosin and dutasteride as its main components. It works by relaxing the bladder muscles and shrinking the enlarged prostate, which helps to relieve the symptoms of benign prostatic hypertrophy. This medicine is not meant to be used to treat prostate cancer. Take Prostagard D4 capsule in the exact dose and duration as prescribed. Do not stop taking this medicine on your own. Prostagard D4 capsule contains a combination of silodosin and dutasteride as active ingredients.
Silodosin works by relaxing the muscles in the prostate, bladder, and urethra (the tube that carries urine outside the body).
Dutasteride helps in reducing the size of the enlarged prostate.
Together, this allows the proper flow of urine and helps to relieve the symptoms of benign prostatic hypertrophy.
