Polyclav 625mg Tablet Description

Polyclav 625 mg tablet is an antibiotic medicine. It is used to treat various bacterial infections in the body such as lungs, urinary tract, reproductive tract, stomach-intestine, soft tissues, joint

s and dental. It is a combination medicine containing amoxicillin and clavulanic acid. Polyclav 625 is a broad-spectrum antibiotic medicine meaning it is effective in killing a wide range of infection-causing bacteria. Amoxicillin and clavulanic acid in this medicine act in a synergistic manner, to produce optimal effects by inhibiting the growth of the bacteria and inactivating the enzymes released by the bacteria. Thus, kills the bacteria and further reduces the spread of bacterial infection within the body. Do not stop taking the Polyclav 625 mg tablet, as it may result in treatment failure and reoccurrence of the infection, thus you should always complete the course of the treatment. You may experience diarrhoea as the most common side effect after taking this medicine. However, not everyone experiences this side effect. Reach out to your doctor if diarrhoea persists or worsens.
