Phensedyl T Bottle Of 100ml Syrup
Phensedyl T Bottle Of 100ml Syrup Description
Phensedyl T 100ml Syrup helps in relieving dry cough. This syrup can also help reduce symptoms of allergies such as stuffy nose, sneezing, runny nose, watery eyes, throat irritation, etc. It contains
triprolidine and codeine as its active ingredients. Triprolidine is an antiallergic (reduces symptoms of allergies) medicine, and codeine is a cough suppressant (reduces dry cough). Coughing, both dry or productive, is the body’s natural response in clearing things (like mucus, allergens, dust, smoke, etc.) from the airways to prevent infection. Dry cough doesn’t produce any phlegm or mucous, while wet cough produces mucous to clear the airways. Phensedyl T syrup helps in reducing dry cough. The dose of this medicine leans on the extent of the medical condition. Phensedyl T syrup can be taken before or after eating food. The dose and the duration of this medicine should be prescribed by the doctor. Some people may experience side effects such as drowsiness, dizziness, stomach upset, etc. These side effects don’t require any medical treatment unless they worsen or persist for a long time. Do not drive or drink alcohol after taking Phensedyl T syrup. It contains codeine, which can cause withdrawal symptoms like irritation, sweating, etc., when used in large quantities.
