Pegicol oral solution is a laxative medication that contains a combination of polyethylene glycol, sodium chloride, sodium bicarbonate, and potassium chloride as its active ingredients. Pegicol oral solution is used to treat constipation in adolescents, adults, and the elderly. It works by increasing the water content of stools, resulting in more frequent bowel movements that facilitate the swift passage of stools.
Take Pegicol oral solution exactly as directed by your doctor. Before commencing this medication, inform your doctor if you are pregnant or breastfeeding and provide your complete medical history. Pegicol oral solution is not recommended for individuals under the age of 12. Take the precise amount of Pegicol oral solution as instructed by your doctor. Shake well before use.
