Mode of Action of Peg Nt Strip Of 15 Tablets
How Does It Work?
- Pregabalin works by reducing the release of neurotransmitters responsible for pain and seizures.
- Nortriptyline inhibits the reuptake of serotonin which increases the concentration of neurotransmitters in synapse. However the main mechanism of action of nortriphyline in treatment of neuropathic pain is not yet known....

Interactions of Peg Nt Strip Of 15 Tablets
Interactions with other medicines
- Nortriptyline should be used cautiously when administered with buprenorphine, as it increases the risk of serotonin syndrome
- Nortriptyline may decrease the antihypertensive effect
- Barbiturates may increase the rate of metabolism of nortriptyline
- Nortriptyline should not be given with sympathomimetic agents
- Valproic acid increases the plasma concentration of nortriptyline
- Pregabaline when taken with lorazepam may result in increased effects of lorazepam
