Uses
- For comorbid depression and anxiety disorder
Contraindications
- Patients with spinal or cerebellar ataxia (abnormal muscle movements that may cause inability to walk).
- Patients with myasthenia gravis (a severe form of muscle weakness).
- Patients with impaired liver, lung, or kidney function.
- Patients suffering from sleep apnoea (a condition associated with difficulty in breathing while asleep and snoring).
- Patients who have an alcohol dependence disorder.
- Patients with suicidal tendencies.
- Patients with acute narrow-angle glaucoma (elevated pressure in the eye).
- Patients with a known hypersensitivity to Clonazepam and Paroxetine.
Side effects

- Anxiety
- Delayed Ejaculation/Erectile dysfunction
- Loss of sexual drive

- You suffer from any health problems, including glaucoma, seizures, heart conditions, renal disorders, or liver conditions.
- You develop any thoughts of harming yourself while on the Paxotus Plus tablet.
- You are on any other medications.
Directions for Use
- It is recommended that the Paxotus Plus tablet be taken at fixed times every day, preferably at night.
- Paxotus Plus tablet can be taken with or without food.
- Swallow the tablet whole, do not split, crush, or chew.
- Take the Paxotus Plus tablet at the recommended dose. Do not alter the dose in any way, as this may lead to undesirable side effects.
- It is essential to take the Paxotus Plus tablet for the entire duration prescribed to you by your doctor. Abruptly stopping the Paxotus Plus tablet can lead to side effects such as increased irritability, difficulty sleeping, nausea, or anxiety.

How Does It Work?
Interactions
Interactions with other medicines
- Co-administration of Tranylcypromine or any other monoamine oxidase (MAO) inhibitors, as the risk or severity of adverse effects can be increased. Taking them within 14 days of treatment is also contraindicated.
- Co-administration with Tapentadol or other medications that increase the level of serotonin is not recommended, as lt may increase the central nervous system depressant effects of the medicine and may precipitate a dangerous side effect called Serotonin Syndrome.
- Co-administration with other benzodiazepines and strong painkillers like Tramadol is not recommended as it can potentiate its actions.
- Co-administration with warfarin, NSAIDs (Nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory medicines), aspirin, or other medicines affecting coagulation is not recommended as this may lead to an increased risk of bleeding.
- The metabolism of Clonazepam and Paroxetine may be decreased with certain medicines. This may lead to their actions being prolonged. Co-administration of these medicines, including Cimetidine, Amoxicillin, etc., is not recommended.
- The metabolism of Clonazepam and Paroxetine may be increased with certain medicines. This may lead to a decrease in its efficacy. Co-administration of these medicines, including rifampicin, linezolid, etc., is not recommended.
