Other General Warnings

• You have or had infections measles, chickenpox and shingles.
• You had exposure to patients infected with measles, chickenpox and shingles.
• You must avoid coming in contact with patients infected with measles, chickenpox and shingles. You experience skin allergies.
• You suffer mood disturbances, fits and other psychiatric problems.
• You experience vision disturbances and eye infections. Upon long term, get the eyes checked at least once in 6 months.
• You are elderly, have a heart problem, diabetes, high blood pressure and cholesterol, blood clotting problems, thyroid, liver and kidney diseases.
• You suffer from muscle weakness due to steroid therapy or have a condition called myasthenia gravis.
• Children and adolescents taking steroids must be observed for growth abnormalities as steroids retards the growth on long term use.
• You suffer from psychiatric disease, diabetes, fits, osteoporosis and glaucoma.

• The medicine suppresses the chemicals that cause allergies, swelling.

Interactions with other medicines

• You must not take a live vaccine while taking the medicine as it reduces the effectiveness of the vaccine.
• Some medicines affect the way Omnacortil Forte syrup works or the medicine itself reduces the effectiveness of other medicines taken at the same time.
• Inform the physician about the medicines, supplements or herbals you take or might take to avoid possible interaction.
• Taking medicines to treat high blood pressure, heart failure, anti-thyroid, high/abnormal cholesterol levels, blood thinners, anti-infectives, anti-diabetics, anti-asthmatics, pain killers, immunomodulatory medicines or medicines for the brain-related disorder.
• There is an increased risk of stomach bleeding if you are taking painkillers or aspirin along with the medicine.
