• If you are allergic to fish, shellfish or any ingredient of this capsule.
• If you are pregnant or planning a pregnancy, unless your doctor has advised it, because cod liver oil contains vitamin A.
• If you have a bleeding disorder or are taking a blood thinner, unless your doctor has advised it.
• If you have epilepsy, as evening primrose oil has been associated with seizures in susceptible people.

Other General Warnings

• You are taking other medications or supplements, or following any complementary or integrative health approaches.
• You have any planned surgery or operation.
• You are pregnant or planning to become pregnant. Cod liver oil contains vitamin A, and too much is harmful to the baby.
• You take a blood thinner or antiplatelet medicine, or have a bleeding disorder.
• You have epilepsy or a seizure disorder.
• You take any other supplement containing vitamin A or vitamin D, or another fish oil.
• You have liver disease, diabetes, or a thyroid condition.

• Swallow the capsule whole with a glass of water. Take the capsule with a meal to enhance absorption. Do not chew or crush the capsule. Always follow the recommended dosage, and consult your doctor if you need to exceed it.
• Take it with or just after a meal. These are fat-soluble ingredients and absorb better with food; taking it with food also reduces burping and a fishy aftertaste.
