Medical Description
Omdrox tablet is an antibiotic used for selected bacterial infections of the throat, ears, sinuses, lungs, urinary system, skin, soft tissues and bloodstream, and for preventing some infections after surgery. It contains cefuroxime, which stops susceptible bacteria from building the protective cell wall they need to survive. This action helps the body clear the infection, but it does not work against colds or flu caused by viruses. Omdrox tablet is taken by mouth with or without food as prescribed.
