Olay Plus Tab is an antipsychotic medicine. It is used in the treatment of schizophrenia or psychosis and bipolar disorder (manic depression). Schizophrenia causes hallucinations that are seeing or h
earing things that are not real and delusions or wrong beliefs. In contrast, bipolar disorder is characterised by mania and depression episodes. Olay Plus Tab alleviates these symptoms. The Olay Plus Tab contains two medicines, fluoxetine and olanzapine. It works by restoring the balance of certain naturally occurring substances in the brain. Common side-effects of Olay Plus Tab are drowsiness, lightheadedness, restlessness, irritability, tremor, dry mouth, constipation, increased appetite, extreme fatigue, decreased libido, swelling of the hands or feet, or weight gain. Contact the doctor if these side effects persist or worsen. Children under the age of 18 should not take Olay Plus Tab. Inform your doctor if you have ever had kidney disease, heart disease, or liver problems. Olay Plus Tab should not be abruptly stopped by pregnant or breastfeeding women. If your symptoms improve, speak to your doctor before discontinuing Olay Plus Tab abruptly.

- If you are older than 65 years of age
- If you suffer from heart diseases
- If you have hyperlipidaemia
- Olay Plus Tab should not be administered to people above the age of 65 years
