Medical Description
Odicef T injection is an injectable antibiotic used under medical supervision for certain serious bacterial infections, including infections of the lungs, abdomen, urinary tract, skin, bones, joints, blood or the membranes around the brain. It contains a combination of ceftriaxone and tazobactam. Ceftriaxone stops susceptible bacteria from building their protective cell wall, while tazobactam helps protect ceftriaxone from enzymes that can weaken some antibiotics. This injection is given by a doctor or nurse, usually slowly into a vein, in a hospital or clinic, and is used only when prescribed for the identified infection.
