Contraindications of Ocabile 5 MG

If you are allergic to obeticholic acid or any other ingredient of Ocabile Tablet.
If you have complete blockage of the bile ducts in your liver or gallbladder.

Interactions with other medicines

Some medicines can affect the way Ocabile Tablet works or this Tablet itself can reduce the effectiveness of other medicines taken at the same time.

The use of Ocabile Tablet with bile acid binding resins (cholestyramine, colestipol, colesevelam) may reduce the effectiveness of this Tablet.
