T3-LC tablet contains a combination of methylcobalamin, vitamin B6 (pyridoxine), l-methylfolate calcium, l-carnitine-l-tartrate and tocotrienols as active substances. Methylcobalamin is essential for the functioning of the brain and nerves, for the production of red blood cells and for DNA synthesis. It also plays a major role in protein and fat metabolism, fertility and the functioning of various hormones. Vitamin B6 (pyridoxine) serves as a cofactor for a large number of enzymes that either synthesize or break down amino acids. It helps to repair nerve signals. Additionally, it ensures that nerve fibres can adequately transmit signals. Vitamin B6 helps in the production of certain molecules that the nerves need to transmit signals from the brain to the body's cells. L-methyl folate calcium is required for proper cell division. A deficiency of this vitamin can lead to a condition called megaloblastic anaemia. It is also essential for the formation of red blood cells and the formation of DNA and other genetic material. L-carnitine-l-tartrate has antioxidant properties that help to reduce the formation of damaging free radicals in the body.
