  • Concurrent treatment with live vaccine and methotrexate may lead to severe antigenic reactions
  • Concomitant use of general anaesthesia may increase the antifolate effect of methotrexate
  • Concomitant use of antipsychotics increases the risk of agranulocytosis
  • The risk of hepatotoxicity increases with the simultaneous use of retinoids
  • Co-administration with NSAIDs may increase and prolong serum methotrexate concentrations
  • Concomitant use of sulfamethoxazole and folate antagonists increases the risk of haematological toxicity
  • Concomitant use of loop diuretics reduces the excretion of methotrexate, thereby increasing the risk of toxicity
  • Neomycin, when co-administered with methotrexate, reduces the absorption of methotrexate
