Medical Description

Mulmin syrup is a nutritional supplement used to support intake of vitamin A, B vitamins and zinc when dietary intake is inadequate. It contains a combination of vitamin A, thiamine, riboflavin, niacin, pantothenic acid, pyridoxine, vitamin B12 and zinc. Vitamin A supports normal vision and immune function, B vitamins help release energy from food and support normal nerve and blood-cell functions, and zinc contributes to normal immune and enzyme functions. Shake Mulmin syrup well and use the measuring device supplied with the pack as directed; it is not indicated for children unless a healthcare professional advises it.

  • Energy and daily function: B vitamins help the body obtain usable energy from food, supporting normal nerve and blood-cell activity when nutrient intake is low.
  • Nutritional support: The syrup may help provide essential nutrients during periods of poor dietary intake, but it is not a substitute for a varied, balanced diet.

Missed a Dose

If you missed any dose, take it as soon as you remember. If it is time for your next dose, then skip the missed dose and continue with your regular dose schedule. Do not take a double dose to compensate for the missed one.

How does this medicine work?

Vitamin A supports normal vision and immune function. Thiamine, riboflavin, niacin, pantothenic acid, pyridoxine and vitamin B12 help the body use food for energy and support normal nerve, blood-cell, skin and tissue functions. Zinc contributes to normal immune and enzyme activity. Together, these nutrients support nutritional intake rather than treating an unexplained medical condition.

Interactions

Interactions with other medicines

Some medicines can affect the way Mulmin works. Tell your doctor about all the medicines, vitamins and supplements you take. In particular, mention antibiotics, thyroid medicine, retinoid medicines and other vitamin or mineral products. Zinc can reduce absorption of some antibiotics, while combining vitamin A with retinoid medicines may increase unwanted effects.
