Medical Description

Moxclav 625 tablet is an antibiotic that is used to treat bacterial infections in various parts of the body including the lungs, urinary tract, reproductive tract, stomach-intestine, soft tissues, joints, and dental. It contains a combination of amoxicillin and clavulanic acid as its active ingredients. These two ingredients work together to produce an optimal effect by killing or inhibiting the growth of bacteria and inactivating the enzymes released by the bacteria. It is important to note that sudden discontinuation of this medication may result in the recurrence of the infection and other adverse consequences.

Augmentine Duo 625, Amoxyclav 625mg, Moxikind Cv 625mg, and Mega CV 625 mg are a few more tablets that also include amoxicillin and clavulanic acid. Some common side effects of Moxclav 625 tablets are headache, nausea, vomiting and diarrhoea, but not everybody gets them. These side effects normally go away with time, but if you feel the side effects persist, you should consult your doctor.

Moxclav 625 tablet is used to treat infections caused by bacteria, like sinus infections, respiratory tract infections, urinary tract infections, bone and joint infections.

Contraindications of MOXCLAV 625MG STRIP OF 10 TABLETS

If you are allergic to amoxicillin, clavulanic acid or any of the ingredients of Moxclav 625 tablet.
If you have a history of severe allergic reactions to any other antibiotics like cephalosporins, monobactam or carbapenem.
If you have a history of liver disease or jaundice.
