Maxcoff T Syrup is given to alleviate symptoms of common colds and coughs such as those occurring in seasonal flu and allergic conditions. It provides temporary relief from stuffy nose, dry cough, ir
ritation in the throat, and itchy, watery eyes. Maxcoff T Syrup is a combination of two active ingredients, codeine and triprolidine. Dry cough occurs as a reaction to irritation or trickle-like feeling in the throat. Stuffy nose is due to congestion in the nose during the flu. The active ingredients of Maxcoff T Syrup decrease the action of a centre in the brain responsible for stimulating cough reflex. They also lower the feeling of pain. In addition, Maxcoff T Syrup reduces a substance in the body that causes nose and sinus congestion in allergic conditions. This helps alleviate runny and stuffy nose Maxcoff T Syrup should be administered with caution in older adults above 65 years as the side effects may be more pronounced in them.
