Lora Tablet contains Lorazepam, which belongs to the benzodiazepine group. It is commonly prescribed for the symptoms of anxiety and anxiety disorder. It is also used in a medical condition called st

atus epilepticus. Lorazepam belongs to a class of medicines called benzodiazepines. Benzodiazepines, like Lorazepam, work by increasing tamma-amino-butyric acid (GABA) levels. GABA can be considered to be a calming chemical in your brain. Depending on your overall mental health condition, GABA can make you feel calm or less anxious. GABA can also help stop a seizure or fit. Due to lorazepam’s ability to produce feelings of calmness and relaxation, it is highly misused, and there is a high potential for abuse. Don’t suddenly stop taking this medicine without consulting your doctor. Some conditions may become worse if this medicine is stopped abruptly. Withdrawal symptoms such as nausea, vomiting, headaches, sleeplessness, and diarrhoea may be experienced by some people. In some rare cases, a person may even develop suicidal thoughts.
