Description
Leverest Mk Tablets contains a combination of montelukast and levocetirizine as its active ingredients. It is used to provide relief from allergic rhinitis, including a runny or stuffy nose, airway
blockage, sneezing, itching, watery eyes, and other allergic symptoms. Leverest Mk Tablets blocks the release of chemical substances, such as histamine and leukotrienes, responsible for these allergic reactions. Leverest Mk Tablets should be taken as directed by your doctor, in the correct doses and for the exact duration prescribed. Swallow it whole with a glass of water. Your doctor may advise you to take Leverest Mk Tablets , preferably at bedtime, as it may cause dizziness.

- If you are allergic to levocetirizine, cetirizine or montelukast or any other ingredients of Leverest Mk Tablets .
- If you have kidney problems or undergoing dialysis.
- If you are unable to digest lactose and glucose (galactose intolerance).

- You are taking medicines for allergies (corticosteroids) like Prednisone and Prednisolone.
- You are already taking painkillers like aspirin as it can increase the risk of asthma.
- You experience a rash or difficulty in breathing.
- You are suffering from a psychiatric illness.
- You are suffering from a genetic disorder called phenylketonuria.
- You are not able to empty the bladder completely.
- This medicine can cause anxiety, aggression, lack of sleep and suicidal thoughts. In case you experience any of these, immediately inform your doctor.
- Leverest Mk Tablets is not meant for relief from acute asthma. Use your inhaler for asthma relief in an acute attack.

- Montelukast blocks certain natural substances called leukotrienes which may cause allergies. It acts by reducing the swelling, relaxes airways and helps to make breathing easier.

- An overdose of Leverest Mk Tablets may cause drowsiness, aggression, restlessness, thirst and headache.

- If you have missed any dose of medicine, take it as soon as you remember.
- If it's time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and continue with your regular dosing schedule.
- Do not take a double dose of this medicine to compensate for the missed one.
