  • Glucored Forte can interact with carbonic anhydrase inhibitor, which is used for glaucoma and can cause lactic acidosis
  • Using this medication with other hypoglycemia can cause severe hypoglycemia
  • It is not advisable to use this medication with bosentan, as it can elevate the liver enzymes
  • Diuretics, when used with Glucored Forte, can cause hyperglycemia
  • NSAIDs, when given with metformin, it increases the risk of lactic acidosis
  • Inhibitors of organic cation transporters 1, such as verapamil, may reduce the efficacy of metformin
