Gatilox DM Sterile Eye Drop is a combination of two medicines, Gatifloxacin, which is an antibiotic and Dexamethasone, which is a steroid medicine. Gatilox is used to treat bacterial infections of th

e eye and reduce the symptoms like redness, pain and itching. This eye drop should not be used for viral or fungal infections of the eye.

Uses of Gatilox Dm Bottle Of 10ml Eye Drops

For the treatment of bacterial infections of the eye (bacterial conjunctivitis).

Contraindications of Gatilox Dm Bottle Of 10ml Eye Drops

If you are allergic to Gatifloxacin or any other quinolone medicine.
If you are allergic to dexamethasone or any ingredient of this eye drop.
If you have ulcers in the eye.
If you have a viral or fungal infection of eyes.
If the pressure in your eyes is raised (ocular hypertension, glaucoma).

Side effects of Gatilox Dm Bottle Of 10ml Eye Drops

Burning sensation and discomfort in the eyes (temporary, just after the application of eye drop).
Watery eyes.
Increase in the pressure of eyes.
Risk of developing other infections on prolonged use.
Disturbed vision, cloudiness (cataract) on prolonged use.
Ulcers or Perforation in eyes in patients with some pre-existing conditions of the eye.

Directions for Use of Gatilox Dm Bottle Of 10ml Eye Drops

Use Gatilox DM Sterile Eye Drops as instructed by your doctor.
Follow directions carefully & do not miss an application.
Wash your hands thoroughly before and after applying.
Avoid touching your eyes with the dropper. Keep the dropper clean.
Wipe any excess liquid from your face with a tissue.
Use the exact number of drops recommended.
Close your eyes for 2-3 minutes and do not blink or squeeze.
