Description
Gardasil 9 Injection protects from several diseases caused by 9 types of the human papillomavirus (HPV). These include cervical cancer, vaginal and vulvar cancers in women, anal cancer, as well as some head and neck cancers. It helps prevent genital warts due to HPV in both men and women.
Pain, swelling, redness, itching, bruising, bleeding, a lump at the injection site, headache, fever, nausea, and dizziness are among the possible side effects. These effects are typically short-lived and resolve on their own.

- Gardasil 9 Injection protects people aged 9 to 45 from the following diseases caused by human papillomavirus (HPV): cervical, vaginal, and vulvar cancers in women, anal cancer, some head and neck cancers such as throat and back of mouth cancers, and genital warts in both men and women....
- Protects from cancers due to HPV Types 6, 11, 16, 18, 31, 33, 45, 52, and 58 in both men and women.

- Gardasil 9 is an injection typically administered in the arm muscle. It may be given in either a 2-dose or 3-dose schedule.
- For individuals aged 9 to 14 years, Gardasil 9 can be administered through either a 2-dose or 3-dose schedule. In the case of the 2-dose schedule, the second dose should be given 6 to 12 months after the first dose. If the second dose is administered fewer than 5 months after the first dose, a third dose should be provided at least 4 months following the second dose....
- For the 3-dose schedule, the second dose should be given 2 months after the first dose, while the third dose should be administered 6 months after the first dose.
- For individuals aged 15 to 45 years, Gardasil 9 is given according to a 3-dose schedule; the second dose should be administered 2 months after the first dose, with the third dose following 6 months after the first dose....
