Fortwin Tablets are used to manage moderate to severe pain. It consists of pentazocine as the main component. It belongs to the class of opioid or narcotic pain relievers. It is a medicine prescribed for relieving chronic (long term), persistent and moderate to severe pain. It can be used to address localised or general pain. Fortwin Tablets are considered a safe medication when taken in the prescribed dosage. Consult your doctor before taking this medication. It is mostly prescribed for an individual in sustained pain. Try not to use this medicine continuously for a long term without consulting a doctor. Some people can experience withdrawal effects with this medication after long-term use.
