Folisurge solution for injection is a hormone medicine used for female infertility related to problems with ovulation and for selected male fertility problems caused by low reproductive hormone function. Its active ingredient is follicle stimulating hormone, which supports the growth of an egg in the ovary and sperm production in the testes. In women, it helps a follicle develop during fertility treatment; in men, it supports the testes in making sperm. Folisurge injection is given under the skin by a doctor or nurse and must not be self-administered.
