Flucort N skin cream contains a combination of two medicines - Fluocinolone and Neomycin. It is used in treating steroid-responsive bacterial skin infections like dermatitis, psoriasis, etc. It helps
in reducing the symptoms such as itching, redness and swelling. Do not use this medicine to treat any other skin conditions than that prescribed by your doctor. It is meant only for external application and should be applied exactly as recommended by your doctor. You may experience some application site reactions as side effects while on treatment with Flucort N skin cream, but they normally fade away with time. But if you feel the side effects persist or your condition worsens, you should contact your doctor immediately. Before using Flucort N skin cream, inform the doctor if you are pregnant, planning a pregnancy or breastfeeding and about your detailed medical history.

- You develop an allergic reaction or an infection after using Flucort N skin cream. Immediately contact your doctor.
- You are also applying other topical medicines (cream, ointment, lotion, etc).
- You do not notice any improvement in your condition after applying this medicine for 7 days.
- Do not cover the affected area of skin with a bandage or occlusive dressings.
- This cream should not be used to treat any other conditions than that prescribed by the doctor.
- Flucort N skin cream must not be used for a longer duration without proper medical guidance.

- Flucort N skin cream works by the combined action of both its components - Fluocinolone and Neomycin.
- Fluocinolone is a steroid, which works by blocking the production of certain chemical substances in the body (prostaglandins) which cause itching, swelling and redness.
- Neomycin is an antibiotic and it works by inhibiting the growth and multiplication of bacteria causing infection.
