Flagyl suspension is used in treating infections of the skin, lungs, heart, stomach, liver, intestines, joints, bones, private parts, etc. It is also helpful for treating dental infections.
It is also used to prevent an infection after a surgery or an operation.

Contraindications of Flagyl 200 MG

If you are allergic to Metronidazole or any other ingredients of Flagyl suspension.
If you are pregnant or think you may be pregnant.
If you are a breastfeeding mother.

Flagyl suspension may cause drowsiness, dizziness, confusion, hallucinations, fits or temporary visual disturbances like blurred vision. Thus, you should be cautious or avoid driving if you do not feel well or are unable to be alert.

Alcohol

Can I consume alcohol with Flagyl suspension?

You must not consume alcohol along with Flagyl suspension and for 48 hours after treatment with this medicine as it may produce side effects like nausea, vomiting, stomach pain, headaches, hot flushes and palpitations.
