Ferinject Injection is used to cure anaemia due to decreased iron levels. It helps you rebuild the iron in your body, which is needed to produce new red blood cells and haemoglobin.

Directions for Use of Ferinject 50 MG/ML

Ferinject Injection is administered intravenously, either by slow injection or infusion, by a healthcare professional. Do not self administer.

Interactions with other medicines

Ferinject decreases the absorption of Calcium Phosphate resulting in a decrease in efficacy
Dimercaprol may increase the nephrotoxic activities of Ferric carboxymaltose
The absorption of Ferric carboxymaltose may be diminished when combined with omeprazole
The serum concentration of Ferric carboxymaltose can be lowered when combined with triethylenetetramine

Storage and disposal of Ferinject 50 MG/ML

Ferinject Injection should be stored in its original package to protect from light. Do not store above 30º. Do not freeze. Store in a cool, dry place away from excess moisture.

No Ferinject Injection overdose incidents, unintentional or purposeful have been observed.
