• Fenceta M suspension is used for symptomatic relief of mild-to-moderate pain in headache, migraine, toothache, muscle and joint ache, and backache.
• It is also used to relieve pain such as traumatic pain, pain due to sprain and strain and pain after surgeries and operations.

• If you are allergic to mefenamic acid, paracetamol, or any of the ingredients of Fenceta M suspension.
• If you have asthma or have experienced an asthmatic attack due to painkillers.
• If you are suffering from inflammation in the digestive tract.
• If you have or had stomach ulcers.
• If you are pregnant.

Other General Warnings

• You have a liver or kidney problem.
• You have an ulcer in your stomach or intestine, or holes in the digestive tract.
• You experience changes in blood count or anaemia.
• You are suffering from high blood pressure.
• You have a history of asthma or allergic reactions.
• You have fluid retention in your body (oedema).
• You have a heart condition like stroke, heart failure or a heart attack.

• Take Fenceta M suspension as instructed by your doctor.
• Shake well before use.
• Do not consume it directly from the bottle.
• Use a measuring cup, spoon or dropper for the exact quantity.

• Store Fenceta M suspension at room temperature, away from light and moisture.
• Keep it out of the reach of children and pets.

How Does It Work?

• Fenceta M suspension contains a combination of mefenamic acid and paracetamol as its active ingredients.
• Mefenamic acid and paracetamol are non-steroidal anti-inflammatory medicines (NSAIDs). They work by preventing the synthesis of prostaglandins, a chemical responsible for pain, inflammation, and swelling.

Interactions with other medicines

• Some medicines can affect the way Fenceta M suspension works, or this medicine itself can reduce the effectiveness of other medicines taken at the same time.
• Tell your doctor about all the medications, supplements, or herbal supplements you are currently taking or may take to avoid any potential interactions.
• Particular care should be taken if you are taking medicines used to treat nausea or vomiting, like metoclopramide or domperidone, and medicines used to treat bacterial infections, like chloramphenicol.
• Medicines used to thin blood, such as warfarin, should be used with caution, as there is a chance of increased bleeding upon long-term use.
• Anti-platelet medicines such as aspirin or clopidogrel, steroids and painkillers, when taken along with this medicine, can induce stomach or intestinal bleeding.
• Antidiabetic medicines, when taken in combination with Fenceta M suspension, can cause low blood sugar levels.
• Cholesterol-lowering medicines like cholestyramine should be taken with a minimum gap of 2 hours.
• Fenceta M suspension should not be taken for 8 to 12 days after taking a medicine called mifepristone.
• Digoxin, used to treat heart failure, should not be taken along with this medicine.
• Medicines used to lower blood pressure, such as water pills, immunomodulatory medicines like tacrolimus and ciclosporin, and certain antibiotics, should be used cautiously.
