F Tensil Injection
F Tensil 25 MG Description
F Tensil is a prescription medication available in injection form. It is used in the treatment of chronic schizophrenia. The active ingredient of F Tensil is Fluphenazine. Schizophrenia is a seri
ous mental disorder in which the affected person has an altered perception of reality that affects how they feel, think, and behave. They can present with hallucinations, delusions, altered perceptions, mood changes, and disorderly thinking. There are certain chemical messengers (neurotransmitters) and pathways in the brain that are thought to produce the symptoms of schizophrenia, chief among which is the hyperactivity of one neurotransmitter called dopamine. Antipsychotic medications primarily decrease this process, thereby producing relief from symptoms. Directions for use of F Tensil injection should be strictly followed, and this medication should be taken as recommended by a doctor. It should be administered as an injection by a trained healthcare professional and never self-administered. It is highly recommended to complete the entire course of the medication. Abruptly stopping this medicine can cause worsening symptoms. Side effects of F Tensil injection include drowsiness, lethargy, blurring of vision, dry mouth, constipation, urinary retention, orthostatic hypotension, headache, nausea, vomiting, abnormal movements, and Parkinson-like symptoms (increased muscle tone, stooped gait, tremors, and generalised slowing of movements).
