Medical Description

Ezolac Forte tablet is a prescription combination used to manage low mood and anxiety symptoms. It contains etizolam, a benzodiazepine medicine that calms excessive nerve activity, and escitalopram, which increases the availability of serotonin, a chemical messenger involved in mood regulation. Etizolam can provide short-term calming effects, while escitalopram supports ongoing improvement in low mood and anxiety. Ezolac Forte tablet is taken by mouth with or without food and should be used only for the period prescribed because etizolam can lead to dependence.

Uses

  • Low mood: Escitalopram increases serotonin availability, which can help improve persistent sadness and loss of interest when prescribed for this condition.
  • Anxiety with low mood: Etizolam calms excessive nerve activity, while escitalopram supports longer-term mood management for associated worry and tension.

Side effects
