Interactions of Enthrocin 250 MG

Interactions with other medicines

Medications like warfarin, valporate, carbamazepine, theophylline and ergotamine when taken along with Erythromycin get metabolised at a lesser rate than normal increasing their effects
Concurrent use of Erythromycin with Terfenadine, Astemizole and Cisapride may cause serious life threatening arrhythmias
Erythromycin should not be given in patients with electrolyte disturbance due to the risk of prolongation of QT interval
Erythromycin can increase the toxicity of rhabdomyolysis with statins

Dosage of Enthrocin 250 MG

Overdose

An overdose of Erythromycin may cause temporary hearing impairment, nausea and vomiting. Try to get medical attention on priority.
