How Does It Work?
Enthrocin kills the bacteria by inhibiting the protein synthesis of bacteria which is necessary for its survival.

Always take Enthrocin 250mg tablet as directed by the doctor or pharmacist. Do not self medicate on antibiotics as it could lead to antibiotic resistance and you may end up making antibiotics ineffective for yourself in future. Do not crush, break or chew the tablet. Interactions of Enthrocin 250 MG
Interactions with other medicines
- Medications like warfarin, valporate, carbamazepine, theophylline and ergotamine when taken along with Erythromycin get metabolised at a lesser rate than normal increasing their effects
- Concurrent use of Erythromycin with Terfenadine, Astemizole and Cisapride may cause serious life threatening arrhythmias
- Erythromycin should not be given in patients with electrolyte disturbance due to the risk of prolongation of QT interval
- Erythromycin can increase the toxicity of rhabdomyolysis with statins
- Caution must be exercised while taking Enthrocin with like terfenadine or mizolastine (used to treat allergies such as hayfever); domperidone; pimozide; beta-lactam antibiotics (penicillin and cephalosporin); protease inhibitors (used to treat viral infections, e.g. saquinavir); oral contraceptives....
