Medical Description

EDGLIM-MV1 SR tablet is used with diet and exercise to improve blood sugar control in adults with type 2 diabetes, especially when blood sugar remains high after meals. It contains a combination of glimepiride, metformin and voglibose. Glimepiride helps the pancreas release insulin, metformin reduces sugar made by the liver and improves the body's response to insulin, and voglibose slows the breakdown of complex sugars. The sustained-release tablet is taken by mouth and swallowed whole as prescribed.
