- Cocaine: Disulfiram may increase the serum concentration of Cocaine
- Diazepam: Disulfiram may increase the serum concentration of Diazepam
- Dronabinol: Disulfiram may enhance the adverse/toxic effect of Dronabinol. Specifically, Disulfiram may cause intolerance to the alcohol present in the dronabinol oral solution
- Flunitrazepam: Disulfiram may increase the serum concentration of Flunitrazepam
- Fosphenytoin: Disulfiram may increase the serum concentration of Fosphenytoin
- Metronidazole: Disulfiram may enhance the adverse/toxic effect of Metronidazole. The combination can have adverse effects on the brain
- Phenytoin: Disulfiram may increase the serum concentration of Phenytoin
- Theophylline: Disulfiram may increase the serum concentration of Theophylline
- Tinidazole: can increase the adverse/toxic effect of Disulfiram
- Tipranavir: Disulfiram may enhance the adverse/toxic effect of Tipranavir. Avoid combination
- Vitamin K antagonists (eg, warfarin): Disulfiram may increase the serum concentration of Vitamin K antagonists
Interactions with food items
- While taking disulfiram, you should stay away from alcohol and alcohol-containing products such as mouth wash, cough medicine, perfumes, and aftershave creams.
