Medical Description

Denosta injection contains denosumab, a medication that strengthens bones. It is prescribed for various conditions related to bone health. These include treating osteoporosis in postmenopausal women and men at high fracture risk, addressing bone loss caused by long-term steroid use, and preventing bone loss in men undergoing hormone therapy for prostate cancer and women receiving treatment for breast cancer.

Denosta injection is administered by a healthcare professional and should never be self-injected. To enhance its effectiveness, ensure you're taking adequate calcium and vitamin D supplements. Common side effects may include headache, extremity pain, musculoskeletal pain, nerve pain, constipation, and rash. Consult your doctor if these side effects persist or worsen.

Inform your doctor about all other medications you're currently taking to ensure Denosta injection safety. Pregnant and breastfeeding mothers should always consult their doctor before using this medication.
